Baking Since I was 6 years old

I still remember the pink cardboard recipe book

When I went to Kindergarten at Watheroo Primary school in the early 80’s, one of our teachers had us make recipes from “MY FIRST RECIPE BOOK”. I can still picture it in my mind….pink cardboard cover and curling ribbon in the hole punched binding. I must have made the caramel slice and chocolate truffle recipes a thousand times. I still use the truffle recipe now, over 40 years later!

I launched my baking business in July 2017 as Bliss Baking Mumma. I only traded for 6 months in Perth before we relocated to America in 2017. In Houston, Texas I ran my baking business in addition to teaching baking classes at a baking school owned by luxury boutique catering company ‘Southern Cadence Cuisine’. I also supplied pecan pies and cakes to Southern Cadence Cuisine and was regularly asked to sell them my secret recipe!

Whilst in the United States, I was baking pecan pies to consistent & incredible reviews…which inspired the refocusing of the business into bringing pecan pies to Australians.

Bliss Baking Company was rebranded in 2023 is a stand alone company registered with ASIC, our kitchen is registered with the City of Vincent and we have full business insurance. We are located in Leederville, Perth Western Australia.
